What is Entegrata?

Entegrata is a comprehensive legal data platform that enables law firms to collect, transform, secure, and analyze their critical business data. Built on Azure infrastructure, Entegrata provides a centralized data lakehouse that integrates seamlessly with your existing systems while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
Entegrata transforms disparate legal data sources into a unified, analytics-ready platform that powers business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics for modern law firms.

Platform Documentation

There are four core areas outlined in the documentation:

Data Collection

Automatically ingest data from your SQL databases, practice management systems, and cloud applications into a centralized lakehouse.

Collector

Connect to Microsoft SQL Server, Iridium, Aderant, DealCloud, UKG, and other data sources. Discover resources, configure collection schedules, and monitor data synchronization jobs.

Data Transformation

Map and transform source data into standardized canonical models that power your analytics and reporting.

Pipelines

Create data pipelines that map source fields to canonical entities. Configure transformations, manage data quality, and deploy pipelines to production.

Data Security

Implement fine-grained access control to ensure users only see the data they’re authorized to access.

Access Control

Define default permissions, create access rules for specific subjects and objects, manage user groups, and test permissions before deployment.

Platform Administration

Manage users, configure infrastructure, and maintain your Entegrata instance.

Administration

Manage users with Azure Entra ID integration, configure network connectivity, set up firewall rules, manage encryption keys, and maintain system versions.

How Entegrata Works

1

Connect Your Data Sources

Use the Collector to establish secure connections to your practice management systems, databases, and cloud applications. Entegrata automatically discovers available resources and manages data synchronization.
2

Map to Canonical Models

Create pipelines that transform source data into standardized canonical entities like Client, Matter, Timekeeper, and Invoice. Define field mappings and transformations to ensure data consistency.
3

Secure Your Data

Configure access control rules to implement your firm’s data governance policies. Set default permissions, create granular rules, and organize users into groups for efficient permission management.
4

Enable Analytics

Your transformed, secured data is now ready for business intelligence tools, custom applications, and advanced analytics. Connect Power BI, Tableau, or other tools to your Entegrata lakehouse.
